          Shorebreak the Documentary has taken the world by storm in the last year. Seems like the word shorebreak is closing language barriers and crossing oceans. Shorebreak has visited hundreds of beaches worldwide in the past few years. Covering not only the world tour but also going to the corners of the skimboarding earth to try an uncover the truth of the origins of the sport. Observing the sport from the heart and soul of the skim community shorebreak left no room for error to uncover the history of the evolution. Searching through the community of skim families to help share this daily passion with the rest of the world. The director of the film is a orange county native and grew up within the beach culture all of his life.  Receiving his higher education at Dominican University of California. His films always help to reflect his company methodology to uncover and reveal the truth.  This is his first sports documentary but Mr. Liuzzi has made several productions and has also assisted in sustainable global relief efforts and through his works has helped to raise millions of dollars for education and charity efforts. Shorebreak : the evolution of skimboarding is scheduled to be released to the public in 2017. Helping to reveal the history and growth of the sport and community of skimboarding. The film is a collection of footage from the past couple decades including footage from the early 1920’s and earlier.

The World Premiere

The world premiere of the critically acclaimed documentary Shorebreak : the evolution of skimboarding occurred at the “CITY NATIONAL GROVE OF ANAHEIM”! The action packed event included give-aways, raffles, expo, VIP  room, premiere, and after party concert by SOLAG VIBRATIONS! Over a thousand people attended and a dozen people went home with a new skimboard donated by Shorebreak & Sponsors.

The entire community of skimboarding came together to celebrate this historic night! This included fans and athletes from dozens of states across the U.S. and International athletes from almost a dozen countries from across the globe! The documentary film event was

 

 

 

 

 

the first of its kind having multiple elements of entertainment all day for fans of all ages to enjoy.  The red carpet event had dozens of booths with tons of free gear for kids and adults to enjoy while mingling with athletes just before the big debut in the theater.

The venue was slammed with Shorebreak fans all excited for the premiere they had been waiting for all year! The fans were met by dozens of the top athletes in the industry both new and old as family.

The fans were able to walk the red carpet with the legends of the sport. The red carpet was surrounded by booths with the biggest names in the industry all giving away boards, gear, and memorabilia.

Entering the event the fans and athletes were shocked to find a complete “Evolution of Skimboarding” history exhibit. The exhibit had over 150 elements including some of the first boards ever to be made in the history of the sport. A seventies psychedelic collection with both the first Exile and Victoria skimboards every created. The Historic and fragile items were highlighted with some of the best photography and moments in the history of skimboardings growth and development. In addition to these artifacts there was a history video highlighting the records set by Brad Domke and the 10th street Bros. achievements by Bill and George Bryan. Everyone found themselves learning and discovering things about the history of the sport like never before.   Even legendary athletes found themselves highlighted in such an historic fashion they could have only dreamed of.  Shorebreaks’ world premiere was full of surprises around every corner. Including the World Premiere of Brad Domke’s newest Australian Mini – Movie! The documentary was met with a standing ovation and even surprise speeches by a few members of the skim family.

Large amounts of support was given to help make this event historic and fun.
